Box Office: 'Jazbaa' gaining momentum
Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai is back with 'Jazbaa' after five years. The film has minted 23.75 crores at the box office till second Sunday.
The film on second Saturday earned 71 lakhs but on Sunday it managed to earn 89 lakhs. Film analyst Taran Adarsh said via social networking site Facebook.
As a reminder, let me tell you 'Jazbaa' on the first day was not able to do much earning at the box office but slowly and gradually on Sunday film gained momentum and minted 15.24 crores in three days.
In the first two days of the movie did the business of 9.72 crores. Where on the first day film grossed 4.23 crores, while on second day the film saw a groth to 5.49 crores. The film did good business on the third day and managed to earn 5.52 million.
Let me also tell you that Aishwarya in the film is playing a role of a lawyer named Anuradha Varma, while Irrfan plays a role of suspended Policemen.
'Jazbaa' is the victim of excessive melodrama and Stylization. This movie has such a good actors like Aishwarya, Irfan and Shabana Azmi ,its has a good story idea,Sanjay Gupta has managed a very modest thriller.
