Amitabh Bachchan To Reprise His Role In The Third Installment Of ‘Bhootnath’

It’s been announced that the makers of ‘Bhootnath’ franchise is looking to make the third installment of the movie. The last movie of the franchise was released in 2014 and was a commercial hit, but it all started in 2008 when Vivek Sharma came up with the idea of a comedy movie featuring a friendly ghost featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The movie instantly clicked with the audience, the comedy and emotional quotient were appreciated by everyone. The 2014 movie, ‘Bhootnath Returns’ had an even more interesting idea of an invisible ghost standing for the elections. Now, we don’t know what the content of the third movie will be but we can accept some crazy idea again. The movie will be directed by BR Chopra’s sons Abahy Chopra and Kapil Chopra, Kapil confirmed the news that they are working on the script of the movie with the panel of three writers. Well, Abahy is all set to make his directorial debut with the suspense-thriller ‘Ittefaq’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead role and as we know, it is the remake of 1969 movie ‘Ittefaq’, which starred Rajesh Khanna in the lead role. Now, it’s interesting that the same director who directed a hard-hitting thriller in ‘Ittefaq’ is making a comedy film in ‘Bhootnath 3’. Amitabh Bachchan will reprise his role of Bhootnath in the movie, we saw the likes of stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Ranbir Kapoor in the previous installment, so we can expect another cameo from a star in this movie.
