The 25th Busan International Film Festival is scheduled for the month of October in South Korea. Doing the rounds is 'Matto Ki Saikal', an Indian movie, which is all set to receive its worldwide premiere at the International Film festival among other Indian films. Matto Ki Saikal is ready to be showcased at the Busan Film Festival under the section 'A Window on Asian Cinema'. Matto Ki Saikal is M. Gani's directorial debut and is produced by Sudhirbhai Mishra who is also a debutant producer. Along with the information regarding the film's worldwide premiere, a few glimpses from the movie have also been doing rounds on the internet. The movie revolves around a family and their struggle and determination to buy a new bicycle. The movie showcases hope amid grave situations through the family's story. Matti Ki Saikal features Prakash Jha, Anita Choudhary and Aarohi Sharma in prominent roles.
Debutant director M. Gani is proud and extremely happy with the success of his first directorial as he expressed his happiness by extending a grateful wish to Busan Film Festival's selection committee. Apart from this, the director also thanked and praised his team for believing in the film. Talking about the prominent role that he received in the movie, Prakash Jha expressed that he was surprised after the director approached him for the movie. Prakash Jha also expressed that the movie includes a beautiful, heart breaking story. The Busan International Film Festival is being held amid the current coronavirus pandemic and is all set to screen a total of 194 films. The Festival will be held from 21 October, 2020 onwards till 30 October, 2020. This year, seven Indian movies including Matto Ki Saikal, Harami, Bittersweet, have been selected to premiere at Busan International Film Festival.
