Akshay Kumar To Start Shooting For 'Gold' In July

Actor Akshay Kumar seems to be on a roll with interesting projects under his sleeves. The actor was seen earlier this year in the movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’ where he discussed the loopholes of the legal system in our country and soon the actor will be seen addressing one of the major issues our country is dealing with, which is open defection. The actor’s choices of projects from past few years have become very sharp. The actor is picking up unique and untold stories and has been getting consistent success as an actor. Akshay recently won the National Award for his role in the movie ‘Rustom’ and before that, his Airlift was also admired largely. Now the next project that the actor is all set to start with is Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold’. The shooting of the movie has already commenced in UK and Akshay is expected to join the team from July. The movie ‘Gold’ is about the first gold medal India won at Olympics in hockey. The movie will be set in the year 1948, the movie will be a fictional adaptation of the match India won as a Free Nation. Along with Akshay Kumar, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, and Sunny Kaushal. And the three other actors have already started prepping for their roles in London under the supervision of former Indian captain, Sandeep Singh.
