Weekend Box Office Collection Of 'Simran' And 'Lucknow Central'

This Friday witnessed two movies with high profile actors, Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty’s ‘Lucknow Central’ and Kangna Ranaut’s ‘Simran’. Both the movies had a high baggage on them and were expected to do well at the Box Office. Out of both the movie ‘Simran’ clearly has moved ahead in the race.  The movie earned Rs. 2.77 crore at the box office and is showing signs of growth with collections as Rs. 3.76 Crore on Saturday, and Rs. 4.12 Crore on Sunday making the total collection to be Rs. 10.65 Cr. Simran Movie Box Office Collection Meanwhile, Lucknow Central too has had a modest opening, picking up Rs 2.04 crore through its publicity and promotion were not that hyped. The movie had a 38.24% growth on Saturday with Collections of Rs. 2.82 Crore and on Sunday the growth was 26.24% with the collection of Rs. 3.56 Crore. Lucknow Box Office Collection While ‘Simran’ was a story of a 30-year-old Gujarati divorcee Praful Patel role played by Kangna Ranaut. And Lucknow Central is based on true events and tells the story of Kishen Mohan Girhotra, played by Farhan Akhtar. Both the movies got mixed reviews and in spite of that, the movies have managed to earn decently at the Box Office.
