Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ Crosses 200 Crores Worldwide

This year has been for Varun Dhawan, the 30-year-old actor had immense amount of success this year, first he came up with Dharma Production’s ‘Bardrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ with Alia Bhatt, which earned 116 crores at the Box Office and then last month his highly anticipated movie ‘Judwaa 2’ directed by his father David Dhawan was released which also became a huge hit and now has earned 133 crores at the Box Office. The movie opened with 15 crores on the first day, which is huge and quickly made in to the 100 crore club, the movie has now crossed 200 crores at the Global Box Office, and became the second Varun Dhawan film to do so, his highest grossing film is Rohit Shetty's ‘Dilwale’, where he was seen as Shah Rukh Khan’s brother, but that was a complete Shah Rukh Khan film and considering his solo films ‘Judwaa 2’ is his highest grossing film. The movie is still ruling the Box Office, but it is expected that it will slow down as two big films ‘Golmaal Again’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ is releasing this week at the Box Office. But ‘Judwaa 2’ still has one three days and that’s more than enough for this film to shine. We predict that the film will go with approx. 150 crores, which is still more than enough, at the global level the film stands with 214.64 crores. Now, this shows the popularity of Varun Dhawan, he is slowly becoming the global star, in his five years of short career; he has not given a single flop. His upcoming movies are ‘October’, directed by Shoojit Sircar and YRF’s ‘Sui Dhaga’ also starring Anushka Sharma in the lead role.
