Supreme Court refused to put stay on Udta Punjab

Supreme Court has denied the petition of NGO over the stay on Udta Punjab. One NGO of Punjab filed a petition, in this is was demanded to apply stay on screening of the film. Court said to contact Punjab-Haryana Supreme court. NGO says that image of Punjab is getting destroyed by this film. High Court should not have given given the permission to release this film, High Court gave permission to Udta Punjab with one cut. Disclaimer was also asked to used in some scenes. A vacation bench of justices Adarsh Kumar Goel and L. Nageswara Rao has demanded sudden discussion on this case. Bench asked for his number from the registry filed by Petitioner. Then hearing will be done. According tot news, Punjab Rajya Mahila Aayog has also reached high court against the film. They have put allegation that women are shown in bad roles.
