The story of the film revolves around the life of a boxing coach who always in controversy for his behavior. The film also focused on the situation of the boxing in the country and how politics has became a part of the sport. The film also going to release in Tamil language because of R. Real boxing champion Ritika Singh had cast for important lead role in the film as the film demands a real boxer. There are the rumors that 'Saala Khadoos' is partly inspires from Shahrukh's starer film 'Chak De India' but the director and the actor had denied the news.
