Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was a versatile and talented actor in the Bollywood industry. With an acting career of 50 years in the Indian cinema, Rishi Kapoor had evolved in the industry with tremendous success and appreciation. The actor breathed his last today i.e., 30 April. Since his debut as a child actor with the movie, Mera Naam Joker, back in 1970, Rishi Kapoor tasted success and widespread popularity throughout all the years. He had delivered back to back hit movies like Bobby, Laila Majnu, Amar Akbar Anthony, Karz, Yeh Vaada Raha, Saagar, Chandni, Hum Tum, Love Aaj Kal, Agneepath, Kapoor & Sons and several other movies. The actor has won numerous accolades and has had a lead role in 92 films. However, the actor does not hold any new upcoming movies in his next latest list of films. Rishi Kapoor is the son of famous filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor started his career as child artist in his father’s movie ‘Mera Naam Joker’ where he played the role of Raju. He got National Award for his performance in the movie and looking at his success and likability among the audiences he was launched by his father Raj Kapoor as the lead actor in the movie ‘Bobby’ at a young age which again went on to be super hit movie of that era and was also a debut movie of actress Dimple Kapadia. After the movie ‘Bobby’ the actor became an overnight star and his romantic and chocolaty Boy appeal made him one of the most desirable actors of Indian Cinema. He appeared in nearly 92 movies as a romantic hero. The actor did nearly 51 solo films in his career. The actor did 12 movies with his real life wife Neetu Singh and their pairing was a hit one during those times. After the year 2000, the actor started taking up character roles and continued to be a part of the Industry. His by far the most admired character role has been of Don Dawood Ibrahim in the movie ‘D-Day’ and of Amarjeet Kapoor in ‘Kapoor & Sons’. Last year we saw the actor in the movie ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Sanam Re’ and both the movie were successful at the Box Office.
