Actor Ranveer Singh is one of the most versatile and energetic actors of Bollywood. The actor is popular for his full of life portrayals and in a very short span of time he has made a mark of his in the industry. Born on 6th of July 1985, Ranveer was born in Sindhi family to Anju and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani.
Probably many few of the people know that Ranveer is a maternal cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who are daughters of Actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. The actor’s full name is Ranveer Singh Bhavnani, but he decided to drop his last name Bhavnani as it would have been too long.
Ranveer after completing his college from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai tried his hand at becoming an actor, but soon he realised that making it big in the film industry is not so as easy as it seems. So a little disheartened Ranveer decided to focus on Content and went on to the United States to pursue a course from Indian University. While his years in USA he side by side took some acting classes and took up theatre as his minor.
Ranveer returned to Mumbai in 2007 and started working with the advertising agency as a copywriter. He then worked as an assistant director too but left it to fulfil his dream of acting in movies. He started sending his Portfolio to directors and started giving auditions but couldn’t get any good opportunity.
In 2010, the actor got his first break and that too with the biggest production house, Yash Raj Films. The actor played the lead role of Bitto Sharma opposite Anushka Sharma, and both the actors were much appreciated for their bindaas performances.
The actor has been a part of many interesting movies but his Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani stands to be his best performances so far.
