There was a Psycho Killer in Mumbai during 60's, who was known as psycho killer. He used to kill people in different way. In 1991, Director Sriram Raghvan made a documentary on him and now directed Anurag Kashyap has made a film called Raman Raghav 2.0. Come lets know, how is the film.
Story : Story of the film is based on Mumbai, where this Raman Raghav (Nawazuddin Siddaiqui) used to kill any daily, sometimes any master, sometime his family or sometimes who gives money on Interest, for this case, Inspector Raghav (Vicky kaushal) is appointed.
Raghav also have Simmi (Sobhita Dhulipala) in his life. He's always high because of drugs, Now will Raghav be able to catch Raman, this you will get to know after seeing the story.
Script : Story of the film is written keeping mental status of psycho in mind. What is his thought before killing anyone. Director has tried to get down it on the script, but it seems weak. Screenplay is weak and too lengthy. After sometimes you will feel that when this film will get over.
Sometimes Nawazuddin appearance get entertainment in the film, but that also gets weak with screenplay. Script of the film is shown in 8 different chapters in the film. But this partition also fails to entertain.
Acting : Nawaz has played the character of Psycho amazingly and seeing him it feels like Raman must be like this only. Vicky has done ok ok work as police officer. Amrita Subhash has played Raman's sister character brilliantly. Sobhita Dhulipala has also worked good.
Weakness : Weakness of the film is it's story and speed, which could have been better. Editing could have been better.
Music : Ram Sampat has given good music. Behuda and katle aam song is nice.
