Rangoon makers have to pay 2 crores for the release of the film

Bollywood filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming movie Rangoon has got stuck in legal controversies. Actually, one plea was filled with the film in the Bombay high court. According to the plea, Wadia Movietone production company has made allegations on the film that the character and dialogues of Kangana Ranaut in the film have copied from the main character Naida of film Hunterwali. Then even said that the posters and many scenes of the film have been copied from it. The plea also has made allegations that the way they have shown the character of Miss Julia is totally a copy of fearless Nadia. Wadia Movietone even has shared a copy of the email in the court. In that mail, the CEO of Wadia Movietone, Roy Wadia shared the wish to make a movie on Fearless Nadia to Rangoon filmmakers last year. But that time Vishal Bhardwaj and UTV Motion Pictures rejected that offer. Now after the hearing on this plea, the Bombay High Court has shared verdict, in which they have said to the makers of the Rangoon to pay at least 2 crores as the bank guarantee. Now it has to see that the film which already has created so much buzz and controversies will do good business or not. The Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Kangana Ranaut starring movie Rangoon has released this Friday on 24th February 2017. The film is not getting that much good reviews which may be the makers were thought of.
