Saif Ali Khan to Portray Role of Villain Opposite Prabhas in Adipurush

Fans have been extremely excited after the news of the collaboration of Baahubali fame Prabhas with director Om Raut came into the limelight. While people have been looking forward to Prabhas' appearance in Om Raut's 'Adipurush', yet another fascinating news has gripped the attention of fans. A recent announcement has raised the excitement level among the public after Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's presence in the movie was made official. Saif Ali Khan is all set to portray the role of 'Lankesh', an extremely powerful demon opposite Prabhas' protagonist character. While Prabhas, according to the Hindu Ramayana, is all set to portray the role of Lord Rama, Saif on the other hand will play the role of Ravana - Lankesh. The information of Saif Ali Khan teaming up with the Adipurush squad came as a big announcement among fans as makers interestingly revealed the character of Saif Ali Khan as the most intelligent demon in the world.

Adipurush is an upcoming action drama film which will be shot in two languages: Hindi and Telugu, while the movie will be dubbed in many other languages including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam. Adipurush is helmed by director Om Raut and is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair in collaboration. Adipurush's tagline reads: Celebrating the victory of good over evil. While details of the movie have not been entirely revealed, it has been reported that Prabhas will play the prominent role of 'Adipurush' which is loosely based on Lord Ram who is apparently also known as 'Adi Purush'. Adipurush marks Saif Ali Khan's collaboration with Om Raut for the second time, the first time being 'Tanhaji' wherein Saif had been cast for the role of a villain just like in Adipurush.
