Sunil Grover who is famous for his comic characters in Kapil Sharma's comedy show has played leading role in the film Coffee with D. The film has already made lots of buzz for its content and the controversies. So, let's see will this film be able to entertain the audience.
Story
The story of the film is of Arnab Ghosh (
Sunil Grover) who hosts a prime-time show on a news channel but due to some reason he always struggles for making his place in the channel. Now to prove himself he goes to interview underworld don D (
Zakir Hussain). Now in the story Arnab's wife (Anjana Sukhani), boss (
Rajesh Sharma) and D's right hand Girdhari (Pankaj Tripathi).
Performances
Sunil Grover's acting is brilliant and with him, Zakir Hussain and
Pankaj Tripathi have worked good and their acting is natural. On the other hand, other actors like Anjana Sukhani, Dipannita Sharma, and Rajesh Sharma also have worked average.
Direction
Vishal Mishra for the first time as a director has brought the film Coffee with and direction of the film is Ok. But the dubbing of the film is a low point where many times because at many time the voice is not audible. The film has shot in very few locations so the production value of the film is very low. The story of the film is very boring and stereotypes. Although, one liner are good.
Music
The background music of the film is good but with the music is ok which goes with the follow.
