'Haseena Parkar' And 'Bhoomi' To Clash At Box Office

Shraddha Kapoor is all set to showcase her powerful acting skills in her upcoming movie ‘Haseena Parkar’. The actress went through an extreme makeover for the movie and her bold, raw and badass role as Haseena Parkar. This will be Shraddha’s first biopic, where she will be playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim's beloved sister. The movie has been coming in news ever since it has been announced. When Shraddha was asked about playing the titular role of Haseena Parkar, she revealed, "I am excited and nervous both as you all will get to see me playing a role from the age of 17 to 43, so with time everything from my looks to talking style will keep changing. Playing such challenging character was indeed difficult. I just wish that it comes out well and is liked by all.” The movie was to release on 18th of August but recently the makers shifted its release date and now, the release date of the movie is going to be September 22, 2017. Director Apoorva Lakhia said about it that as a director it is important for him to ensure that the movie reaches out to maximum audiences and hence the changes in the release date were made. On 18th August, the movie was to clash with ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Newton’ whereas now it will clash with Sanjay Dutt's comeback movie, ‘Bhoomi’. The movie will see Sanjay playing a father to actress Aditi Rao Hydari and will revolve around the father-daughter relationship.
