Pil has filed against Aamir Khan for using Satyamev Jayate

The Bombay High court sought a response from the actor Aaamir Khan and Star network on a PIL by an activist who has taken objection regarding using Satyamev Jayate for their show. In the petition, the activist Manoranjan Roy said that the word 'Satyameva Jayate' form part of the Emblem of India and use of this word is violation under the State Emblem of India (Prohibition and Improper Use) Act and State Emblem of India (Regulation of Use) according to the rules. However the union ministry of home affairs in response to the petition issued an affidavit where it has stated that use of word 'Satyameva Jayate' is not violative of the Act and Rules. The act and rules says that if anybody using this word wrongly and incorrect than its against the law. There is no provision to stop anyone using the word Satyamev Jayate. The affidavit said that the using of word Satyamev Jayate in any show is not violation of law. In that situation the court seek an affidavit from the actor and the makers of Satymev jayate. For telling the reason why they are using the word and how they will show it is not illegal.
