A Pakistani film's screening scrapped out from MAMI film festival due to protest

The protest against the related things with Pakistani actors is now affecting the whole nation and now it also has affected to MAMI film festival due to this, films have been scrapped out from the screening in the festival. Actually, a Mumbai-based NGO Sangharsh opposed the screening of a Pakistani film Jaago Hua Sawera and they even warned that if the screen will happen they will protest against them. Due to this the organizers of the MAMI film festival which is going to premiere on 20th October. Now one official statement has come out from the Mumbai Academy of Movies Images (MAMI) which has stated that seeing the situations of current it has decided that the film Jaago Hua Sawera will not be premiered in restored classic section. This is to notice that the film was revolved around a fisherman and it went for the Oscars from Bangladesh (that time Pakistan) in 1960 as an official entry. After the Uri attack, MNS has asked the Pakistani artists to leave the country and then IMPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association) also put a ban on the Pakistani artists. Even four states of the country, single screen owners have decided to not release any film which has Pakistani artists. This is to notice that MNS is also opposing the film of Ranbir Kapoor called Ae Dil Hai Mushkil because Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has done a cameo in the film.
