New Release Date Of Ajay Devgn's ‘Maidaan’

Ajay Devgn has left his fans in anticipation after he announced the release date of his upcoming biographical sports movie 'Maidaan'. Initially the movie was scheduled to release in the theatres on 11 December, 2020, however, the date has now been changed. Maidaan will now release in the theatres on 13 August, 2021. The information was recently released alongside a poster of the upcoming movie. The poster clearly features that the movie will now release on 13 August, 2020 - the 'Next Independence Week'. The poster features Ajay Devgn standing in a field with a football in his hand and a ball under his foot. Behind him a group of young boys can be seen standing beside each other. The poster however showcases a movie set in the olden times. Maidaan is a biographical sports movie which is inspired by a true story. The film revolves around the story of the old, golden era of football in India during 1952-1962.

Ajay Devgn in the movie portrays the most prominent lead role in the movie. The movie has also roped in actors Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Rudranil Ghosh. Apart from this the movie has evolved with very good news as the movie will release in the languages: Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam besides Hindi. Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindrenath Sharma and is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla in collaboration. Ever since the movie was announced fans have been anticipating the release as not many movies have been dedicated to the sport football, however people will, unfortunately, have to wait a little longer to watch the film. Ajay Devgn has been flourishing in the film industry as the actor has a good number of movies in his upcoming list of projects like Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Sooryavanshi.
