‘Ittefaq’ Is Still Moving Strong At The Box Office

Last week Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘Ittefaq’ was released at the Box Office, the movie opened with a decent collection on the first day, the collection increased on the second and the third day and now after four days of its release, the movie is still going strong at the Box Office. The makers of the movie came up with an interesting idea to not to promote the movie in the TV shows and it was only promoted in the social media and that really helped the movie. It went on to collect 4.04 crores on the first day, which is actually a slow start but it saw a growth on the second day, when the movie collected 5.50 crores, then on Sunday, which was a crucial day for the movie, it managed to earn an impressive 6.50 crores and the weekend collection of ‘Ittefaq’ was 16.05 crores. Now, the budget of this film is 28 crores, which is not too much and as the things are going, it will soon surpass the amount of its budget. On the third, which was Monday, the movie earned 2.25 crores, which is impressive. And the fact that it released with Hollywood’s one of the most awaited movies ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and still manages to collect 18.30 crores in four days sounds good. As expected, this movie is growing slowly, there are no big films to release this month and that gives the advantage to ‘Ittefaq’. It is expected that the movie will earn around 25-27 crores through the end of the week, which is not actually bad, it’s quite good. This week we have two movies ‘Qarib Qarib Single’ and ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ to release at the Box Office. However, both the movies are not well promoted which again gives the advantage to ‘Ittefaq’. The decent reviews from the critics also helped the movie, all the three actors were appreciated for their performances.
