There is lots war had between India and Pakistan and the people know everything about almost every war but a war happened in between both country to which only a few people knows. Amitabh Bachchan's voice-over in starting will make you attention for the film. Story The story of the film is set in the backdrop of 1971 when Bangladesh was known as East Pakistan. That time Pakistani force used to take strong action against the Bangladesh rebels. On 17th November a news comes to Indian Navy headquarters that an attack has been planned through the seaway on India's INS Vikrant. The Navy head V.P. Nanda (Om Puri) appoints a mission search land to know about it, whose responsibility comes to the shoulder of S 21 named Submarine's captain Ranvijay Singh (K.K. Menon) and lieutenant commander Arjun (Rana Daggubati). Captain Devraj (Atul Kulkarni) also joins the team of Ranvijay and Arjun. Then it has shown in the film that how S-21 attacks on Pakistan's PNS Ghazi and destroys it. Performances K.K. Menon alongside Atul Kulkarni have done a great work in the film and on the other hand, Rana Daggubati once again will be seen doing good acting. Especially the scenes between him and K.K. Menon are very good. As a Bangladeshi refugee Taapsee Pannu's character is also good. Other actors have done good work. Direction The direction of the film and especially the VFX work is brilliant and for that the whole team is appreciatable. With this screenplay is very much mature and correct. The screenplay will make you force to think and you will think like there a deadly match going on between India and Pakistan. Dialogues and cinematography are brilliant. Take a bow for the director Sankalp Reddy. Music The background score of the film is good and because of war film, there is no song in it. Although, national songs like Saare Jahan Se Accha and Jan Gana Man comes in between the film. Which gives you a goosebumps and a new spirit in you. Why to Watch If you like to watch historical films and especially patriotic films then this film definitely make you happy and give a love for your country.
