'Dangal' Box Office Collections Outshine In China

As reported in our earlier news article, Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' got a record breaking opening in the China Cinema Halls. Now, as per the latest news that is coming, the movie has registered earnings of more that Rs 80 crore over its opening weekend in China. The Makers of the movie are thrilled with the response the movie has got from the China audiences. Aamir Khan Productions' spokesperson recently shared, that the whole team of movie ‘Dangal’ is excited to hear the news. The love and affection that the movie is receiving, is really overwhelming for all of them. He also shared that the team is really thankful for the outpour of emotion by China viewers on their public platforms. In a statement by the spokesperson, they team also thanked their partners in China who made the movie ‘Dangal’ accessible to cinema lovers in China. The weekend box office collection numbers of Rs 81 crore have beaten the previous Indian film record in China which was again an Aamir Khan starrer, 'pk'. ‘pk’ did a business of 100 crores in china in a span of 16 days. Whereas, ‘Dangal’ has reached pretty close to the figures, in mere three days of its screening. With this, the movie is on its way to becoming Bollywood's highest-earning film in China. And the news is that the movie has also shortened the gap from ‘Baahubali 2’ in terms of worldwide collection scores. Where SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali is shining in the glory being a 1000 crore grosser worldwide, ‘Dangal’ is not far behind spreading its share of the limelight at 792 crores worldwide.
