‘Ittefaq’ Telugu Remake Is Not Yet Confirmed But It Might Happen

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Ittefaq’ is just in the corner for its release. The suspense-thriller will release on 3^rd November, there have been no promotions for the movie and also there is no song in the movie, which makes it even better; now, the makers released the song ‘Raat Baaki’ the last week but that is just a promotional song. The team has not gone in any reality shows for the promotion. Now, there were rumours that the makers are planning the Telugu remake of the movie but now Karan Johar has rest all the rumours. Recently, in a media interaction, Karan said that the Telugu remake has not been confirmed as of yet, but it might happen as the negotiations are going on. The movie is itself the remake of 1969 movie ‘Ittefaq’ starring Superstar Rajesh Khanna in the lead role and was directed by Yash Chopra. However, after watching the trailer of this film, we can say that it will be a bit different than the first movie. Sidharth’s character looks different than Rajesh’s character, which is the major difference. Now, making the movies in different languages is not new in our Industry, we have seen this a lot, many South Indian movies have been adapted in Bollywood and many Bollywood movies have been adopted in South Indian films and it’s not a shock to know that a movie like ‘Ittefaq’ is considered for a Telugu remake, suspense-thriller is one of the most loved genres in South India. Let’s see what the movie does at the Box Office, it is releasing in a good time. After the success of ‘Golmaal Again’ and ‘Secret Superstar’, this movie might come as the dark horse.
