‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ the upcoming movie of superstar Akshay Kumar along with Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher will be addressing an important issue that our country is facing, which is the menace of open defecation. The makers of the movie and actor Akshay Kumar has decided to take up the issue by telling a story that is sure to leave some impact on the viewers. The actor is doing every possible effort in creating awareness about the topic along with promoting the movie. Recently actor used a quirky hashtag ‘Toilet aa rahi hai’ and a video to mark the countdown to the trailer release that is scheduled to happen on 11th of June 2017. And now what we see in his recent post on Twitter is an image that has plush sarson ke khet, which is an ideal place for people living in the rural India to answer nature’s call and that is where the warning lies. The image states clearly that the ‘Nature is not a Toilet’ and then comes the movie name ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ where the O in the word toilet represents a toilet seat. Yesterday also a quirky image of the movie was released with bathroom signs from across the country. The makers of the movie are clearly making an effort to get across the message that the movie is going to address. The actor Akshay Kumar in a recent interview said that “The reason I chose to the movie was its subject. I really feel for a major number of women of India, who have no choice than to go to fields for open defecation and there are many problems that they face because of it.” Now all our eyes are set for 11 June Trailer release of the movie.
