Akshay Kumar Opens On The Clash Between ‘Padman’ And ‘2.0’

Recently, we came to know that two of Akshay Kumar’s movies ‘Padman’ and ‘2.0’ will release on the same day, it was announced that both the movies will release on Republic day 2018, which is 26th January. Akshay was last seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ with Bhoomi Pednekar in the lead role, normally Akshay do three-four films a year but this we have only seen him in two movies ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and both the movies are one of the biggest hits of 2017. Now, talking about the clash between his ‘Padman’ and ‘2.0’, when the news first broke out, everyone got shocked, that was one of the weirdest news we heard. But now Akshay finally opens on this matter, in a recent interview he said, “there has been a lot of false news circulating over the release of both my film, why would I clash with my own film!”. He also said that both of the movies are equally important for him, ‘Padman’ is also produced by Akshay, while ‘2.0’ belongs to Shankar and Rajinikanth. “If they want to release ‘2.0’ on Republic Day, I would not release ‘Padman’, if they don’t, I’ll go forward”, he said. It is also said that ‘2.0’ will be the biggest release of Indian Cinema, it is looking for around 10,000 screens to release it, which is huge, this will be the widest release since ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, which was released on approx. 7000 screens; now, if this happens, it is obvious that the movie will collect a lot of money and it will not be a shock if it beats ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ and ‘Dangal’s collection at the Box Office.
