Ajay Devgn up for the role of TAANAJI MALUSARE!!!

Now that a number of biopics are being made, after the historic characters like Jodha Akbar, Bajirao Mastani, Mangal Pandey and many other now next in the queue is Ajay Devgn. YEAH! you heard it right according to the report Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of Taanaji Malusare. Biopics are the simplest and most effective way through which we get to know about either some historic moment or about some great legend. Movies like "BAJIRAO MASTANI" and "GOLD" enumerates some untold or unknown facts. If we talk about biopics then we can see that movies like "GOLD" tell us about a particular event whereas movies like "Bajirao Mastani" tell us about some particular person from history. So, Ajay Devgn this time has decided to do a biopic which will be one of the Om Raut directorial movie based upon the life of a brave warrior who fought beside Chattrapati Shivaji as a military leader. Ajay Devgn who is a stunt lover actor will now play the role of Tanaji Malusare. The movie will go on floors from 25th September 2018 and will be released next year. According to history, Tanaji had a lizard supposedly named as Yashwanti who played an influential role in the battle of Sinhagad. According to the trade analyst, the actor will start shooting for Taanaji- the unsung warrior after finishing the shoot of Akiv Ali's upcoming movie which is yet to be titled. The cast for Taanaji is yet to be finalised, the movie will be directed by Om Raut who is known for his work in Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush, the movie starred Chinmay Mandlekar, Subodh Bhave and Priya Bapat.
