Abhishek And Aishwarya Might Pair Together For Vashu Bhagnani's Project ‘Sundarkand’

Here is interesting news for all the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai fans. The real-life couple is all set to make yet another appearance opposite each other on reel-life. Yes, the last time we saw them together was in 2010 ‘Ravan’ and now the two are all set to be seen together in Vashu Bhagnani's next, titled ‘Sundarkand’. Although their previous movies like ‘Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke’ and ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’ didn't do any wonders or garnered any appreciation, fans still remember the two for their hit with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Guru’ and their chemistry in the movie. According to the reports initially, the movie was supposed to star Irrfan Khan and Taapsee Pannu who apparently backed out at the last minute. A source had revealed that the movie is inspired by real-life incidents from the life of 2 police officers who found love between solving criminal cases together. The source also shared that at present the couple, Abhishek, and Aishwarya are reading the script and are keen to return to the big screen together. The project is said to be helmed by TV director Priya Mishra, who will be making her Bollywood debut with the outing. Earlier also speculations of their featuring together in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gulab Jamun’ were rife, let us see which one they finally pick.
