Aamir Khan first film was 'Paranoia' and it was directed by his friend Aditya

Although Aamir Khan was born in a filmy Family and today he is a superstar, but during starting off his career, he even had to work as a spot boy. Well, basically it is said that Aamir started his career with the film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' in Bollywood, but the trust is his debut an an actor happened before only. Recently, Aamir Khan with his family went on the launching of Akshay Malwani's book 'Music, Masti, Modernity –The Cinema of Nasir Hussain'. Aamir here talked about the starting days of his career. Aamir told his first film was a 40 minutes short film 'Paranoia', which was directed by Aditya Bhattacharya, later Aamir Khan made 'Rakh' with him. Aamir tells that he and Aditya were friends from school time and after doing High School, he produced this short film. In this short film, Aamir not only worked as an actor but also as Production Manager, Assistant Director and even as spot boy. Aamir never told about this Production venture before, he did not even tell her mother. He used to say that he is going to play hockey. When film was ready, then Aditya convinced Shabana Azmi to see this film in preview theatre. After seeing the film, Shabana said she did not understand the film, but she asked about this new actor. When she got to know that he is son of Tahir Khan, then she said that she will tell Tahir that his son is such a talented actor, but Aamir said no to this. He was afraid that his family will not allow him to act. Now Aamir Khan's film 'Dangal' is going to release, in which he will be seen as a wrestler and a coach.
