Women's are getting more importance in films and Society : Amitabh Bachchan

Actor Amitabh Bachchan said that women have started getting more importance in the society and it is also seen in Contemporary cinema. The Actor said that few decades before actors were shown fighting for actresses, but now changes are done in actresses character and even in the way they are shown on screens now. He said, 'In think during the time of 1970, in the films, actors were shown saving actresses from the bad man characters in the film. That time we don't use too strong women. Good things used to win over bad things and film used to get end when Hero saves heroine from the villain.' 73 years old actor Amitabh Bachchan was talking about this during the press conference of his movie 'Pink'. The film is based on the issue of women's empowerment and it is appreciated a lot. He said, 'Women's have got more importance in Films and society. With the changes in society, films and characters are changed. We are introducing the mirror of society throughout films. Amitabh said over the success of the film, 'I'm feeling proud of the response it is getting. It feels great when film is successful is conveying the message which it wanted to give.' Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed this film Pink. Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee are seen in the film.
