I Wanted To Understand The Cop Culture For ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’: Arjun Kapoor

Actor Arjun Kapoor is getting ready for his next release titled ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, the movie is directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Yash Raj Films. Earlier today Arjun revealed his first look from the movie, where he is in a police uniform, after watching the picture it’s clear that Arjun will be seen as a cop in the movie and the source close to the movie reveals that he will portray the character of a Haryanvi cop. Talking about his character Arjun said that the director Dibakar Banerjee wanted him to understand the world of the character. “He wanted me to step in that world and when I did, I wanted to know more about him, I wanted to know why he is the way he is, I wanted to know his psychology and his way of thinking”, he said. Arjun also stated that this movie is special for him, this is something which he has never done before and working with a filmmaker like Dibakar is a dream comes true. He said that playing a cop on screen is something everyone likes, to play the character he wanted to understand the cop culture. It’s also been reported that Arjun and Dibakar spent over 10 days in Delhi in NCR for the preparation of the role. Arjun also went for training for this role. He said, “I got to meet some amazing real cops, they are working day and night for our safety, their world really fascinated me. I know that if I understand this world, I would play the character better”, he said. The movie looks interesting and considering the director of the film, it’s sure to be an impressive film. Parineeti Chopra will be seen in the female lead and it will be her second collaboration with Arjun after ‘Ishqzaade’.
