Vaani Kapoor Cast Opposite Akshay's Upcoming Flick 'Bell Bottom'

Akshay Kumar's upcoming thriller flick 'Bell Bottom' is set to release in theatres on 2 April, 2020. Akshay Kumar has geared up with a good number of films in his upcoming set of projects and one among those is Bell Bottom. While Akshay has already been roped in to portray the prominent role in the film, the female lead had not yet been finalised. However, the word is now out = Vaani Kapoor has been finalised and roped in to portray the female lead in the movie opposite Akshay Kumar. Recently pictures of both the actors donning black clothes surfaced on social media. The actors can be seen standing beside each other in front of a plain background. The posts however reveal no information regarding the movie and all that we know is that the thriller movie is based on spying.

Following the finalisation of the cast, Vaani Kapoor has been very excited about collaborating with Akshay Kumar as she wrote on her social media that she is "super thrilled and excited" for the movie. She also expressed her excitement as she quoted: "Teaming up with the one and only Akshay Kumar sir. Can't wait!!! Let's get this started". Bell Bottom is helmed by director Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Producer Vashu Bhagnani was quoted saying that he loved all performances by Vaani Kapoor as she is an intelligent and effective actor. Vashu also mentioned that Vaani was chosen as the makers needed the female lead to be in sync with Akshay's performance following which it was decided that Vaani would be fit to play the "meaty" role. While makers are sure that Vaani would ace the role, the movie's release would be anticipated to witness the performances by the actors.
