Two Members of Karan Johar’s Household Staff Infected With COVID-19

The novel coronavirus pandemic has turned the world upside down resulting in a situation of stress and panic all across the world. People have resorted to staying at home in order to combat and prevent the disease, while many people have fallen prey to the deadly disease. Recently, today, Bollywood director Karan Johar, in a tweet has shared an unfortunate, disturbing news with the world. The filmmaker shared the sad news regarding two members of his household staff who have tested positive for COVID-19. The two members have been put under home quarantine in a section of Karan Johar's building which was also sterilised, disinfected and fumigated. Alongside, the BMC was also informed, said Johar. Sadly, Karan Johar's 48th birthday happens to be today, 25th May and he had to share the news amid the happiness of his birthday.

Karan Johar also informed that his family members and the other household staff are safe as all their swab tests are negative. He also said that all the people at his home would remain in self-isolation for 14 days in order to safeguard and ensure that nobody gets affected. Being the responsible citizen that he is, Karan Johar has made sure to provide his affected staff with the proper and best treatment. Ending his tweet, Johar spread around a word of positivity and asked everyone to stay safe at home and take proper precautions. The determined director is sure that the virus could be defeated easily, given that people are determined as well.
