TV rights of Akshay Kumar's Movie 'Airlift' sold in 20 crore

Based on the 1990 fight of Khari, the upcoming movie of Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur 'Airlift' will release in 2016. The TV rights of this movie has been sold in 20 crore. In return producer Akshay for the support has given the Indian viewership of the movie to Viacom 18 in 10 percent less amount. This movie directed by Raja Krishna Menon is based on the Gulf war of 1990. It is based on the true story. The hero and the producer of the movie Akshay is being offered a deal by Viacom 18. The satellite rights of this movie has been taken by Colors in 20 crore and n return Viacom 18 has got 10 percent commission in the all India viewership of the movie. There is a reason behind this of Akshay and Bhushan. Bhushan has released movies like Baby and Roy this year. The Indian earning of Roy was just 35 crore. But as one year deal with TV was already singed for the movie so they had got 14 crore. On the other hand Baby that had collected 70 crore, just was offered 17 crore for TV viewership. To make sure that this not happens with the movie of Akshay on Gulf war, that is why the deal has been done soon before. After the experience in Baby, Akshay has decreased his fees and has taking 70 percent of the profit share in the movie. Along with him  the co producer are Bhushan Kumar, Nikhil Advani and Vikram Malhotra.
