‘Tumhari Sulu’ Still Moving Strong At The Box Office

Vidya Balan starrer ‘Tumhari Sulu’ released last week and got a very good response from the audience. The movie tells the story about a middle-aged woman, who wins a contest to be an RJ and starts her new career, the whole point of this film to show woman empowerment and that really helped the movie at the Box Office, it also stars actors like Manav Kaul and Neha Dhupia in prominent roles. The movie got decent reviews from that critics and the audience really appreciated it, Vidya as the middle-aged woman looked believable; well, she can literally do anything, she is one of the greatest female actors working in the Industry today and her performances in movies like ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Kahaani’, Kahaani 2’, ‘Begum Jaan’ and even in this movie proves that. ‘Tumhari Sulu’ opened with an average number of 2.87 crores, but it saw a tremendous growth on the second and third day, on the second day the movie earned 4.61 crores and on the third day it earned 5.39 crores, which is amazing. Now, this was enough for the movie and we thought that it will slow down from Monday. But it didn’t, the Box office Collection of the movie on Monday was 1.86 crores, which is really good for a non-Holday and on Tuesday, the collection went to 1.87 crores and now the total Box Office Collection of this movie is 16.56 crores, which is quite good. The movie still has two days in hands; let’s see what happens on these two days. The budget of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is approx. 25 crores and as the things are looking right now, it will soon surpass its budget.
