Tiger Shroff's 'Student Of The Year' Gets Postponed As Script Needs To Be Rewritten

The Bollywood is its recent times, is picking up a trend of postponing movies that they had announced with much fanfare. A few months back, it was announced that Karan Johar is all set to produce the sequel to his 2012 super hit movie ‘Student of the Year’  and it would star Tiger Shroff in the lead role. It was also said that the sequel, will be directed by Punit Malhotra, who is known for his work in ‘I Hate Luv Stories’ and ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’. Now, as per reports in a leading tabloid, it appears that the movie is not going on floors anytime soon. And the reason this time is that the director of the movie Punit Malhotra is not quite happy with the script and is getting a major chunk of it rewritten. Something similar happened with ‘Dostana’ sequel too. After the success of the movie back in 2008, there was a strong buzz that director Tarun Mansukhani will be making the sequel of it, but then Karan had some comprehensions with the script and then nothing on it was heard later. And then finally, Tarun gave up and is now making ‘Drive’ with Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez.
