The Song 'Shugal Laga Le' From 'Chef' Shows Father And Son's Food Journey

Since the release of its trailer, Saif Ali Khan's next release titled ‘Chef’ is creating quite a buzz. From the trailer, the movie looked light-hearted and meaningful. The movie also stars Svar Kamble as his son, Padmapriya as his wife and Chandan Roy Sanyal as his friend and is a remake of a Hollywood movie ‘Chef’ that starred Jon Favreau, Sofia Vergara, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. The movie explores the relationship between a father and son and how the two bond over food, and how a father in order to be with his son, leaves his reputed job to start a Food Truck. The movie makers have now released a song today, ‘Shugal Laga Le’, and it is an interesting number from the movie. In the music video of the movie we see the father and the son bonding over food and setting up a Food Truck along with one of Saif’s best friend. In the music video, we see a pumped up Saif Ali Khan embarking his food journey.  The term ‘Shugal Laga Le’ which is the key note of the song means, have fun and forget all your worries. The song has been composed and sung by Raghu Dixit and has a fresh feel to it. The lyrics of the song are penned by Ankur Tewari. The movie ‘Chef’ is slated to release on October 6, 2017.
