Taapsee Pannu To Star With Diljit Dosanjh In Shaad Ali's Next

Actress Taapsee Pannu whom we have seen in hard hitting roles is all set to do her first out and out a commercial role in upcoming movie, ‘Judwaa 2’ where she will be seen romancing  Varun Dhawan. The actress is quite excited about the movie and now we have interesting news to share. The reports have come that the actress is all set to embark a journey with Shaad Ali and Diljit Dosanjh in an upcoming project. The movie is said to be based on real life hockey player, and also ex-captain, Sandeep Singh and the woman who inspired him. The movie wouldn’t be Biopic but will be based on one of the chapters of the player’s life.  A source recently revealed that that the movie is going to be a beautiful love story of two hockey players, where the woman helps the man to achieve big, make his dreams come true and lead the country’s team. For those who don’t know back in 2006, Sandeep Singh was all set to join the team that was leaving for Germany for the World Cup when he got severely injured by an accidental gun shot while by travelling by train. The injury paralyzed him, and he was on the wheelchair for almost two years. But soon due to love and support of the woman in his life, that very man, who couldn’t even walk went on to become the man of the tournament at Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2009. He bagged a silver medal at thereafter at the CommoWeath games 2010 Delhi. That’s not all; he went to become the lead scorer between 2013 – 2015 in the Indian Hockey League. Diljit Dosanjh is said to be playing the role of the hockey player and Taapsee Pannu plays that character who stands by him through the toughest years of his life. And here she will play a hockey player too.
