Tanu Weds Manu actress Swara said, not porn and beef, ban article 377

After getting lot of appreciation of her acting in movies like Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhanaa, actress Swara Bhaskar has now put forward a bold advice. Swara supporting the LGBT community has put issue with the article 377. This comment of Swara has now come in news in which she had said that it is pity that a country like India has article 377, which is a threat to the foreign countries. She had said that no such law should be there. She was keeping her view as one of the panel members for one of the part of the movie "Time Out". She said that such a law should be changed. It is not right that any law defines the like of the same gender in their own ways. Swara said that it is our own liking and disliking. She said that it is common and genuine, there is nothing wrong in it. She added that in some parts of the country beef is being banned, also porn is being banned, it should not happen. Swara pointing to the society said that we are used to compromise. She said freedom is not only limited to giving votes. What we like and how we live is entirely our decision. She added that article 377 sees the LGBT community as criminals and it is really sad.
