SRK-Produced Horror Web Series “BETAAL” All Set To Stream On Netflix On 24 May

Bollywood couple Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have tied their laces to produce an upcoming fictional horror web series under the banner of their production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. The horror series 'Betaal' is all set to start streaming on Netflix on 24 May. The horror series is directed and written by Patrick Graham, the director who had also directed the horror series 'Ghoul' and is co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan. Actor Vineet Kumar Singh is all geared up to appear on another series after the 2019 Bard Of Blood which was also produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.

The series has roped in Aahana Kumra to essay the role of DC Ahluwalia, Vineet Kumar Singh for the role of Vikram Sirohi, Suchitra Pillai as Commandant Tyagi, Manjiri Pupala as Puniya, Jitendra Joshi, Siddharth Menon for the prominent roles. Betaal revolves around a village that happens to be the zone of a war between an Indian Army Officer 'Betaal, his force of blood-sucking zombie redcoats with the villagers and the Indian Police Department. Interestingly, a two-century-old wicked spirit and a haunted mountain also has a play in the series, that makes it all the more exciting. The Indian apocalypse web series happens to be the fifth original Indian series brought forward by the country. The excited director had always wanted to create a different type of action loaded horror series. Graham also shared a little plot suggesting that the movie has the concept of a cursed mountain that contains an ancient spirit. The series besides having a wonderful ghost story is also followed by action and suspense.
