Sridevi Might Make A Cameo Appearance In Her Daughter Jhanvi Kapoor’s Debut ‘Dhadak’

As we know, Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will be making her Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khattar in ‘Dhadak’. It was officially announced a few days ago that Shashank Khaitan will direct this film and it will be the Hindi remake of Super Hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’. The shooting of the movie will start very soon and it will release in July 2018. Now, there are rumours that Sridevi might play an important role in the movie, well, she will be in a cameo if it does happen but in an important role. A source close to the film revealed that Sridevi might play the on-screen mother of her off-screen daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. “The role of girl’s mother in the film is small but very important. Srideviji will add a completely new dimension in the film”, it said. Well, this is not official news, it’s just a rumour but it will be interesting to see Sridevi with her daughter in this movie. Sridevi was out of movies for quite some time now, until she made her return in ‘Mom’, earlier this year, where she impressed everyone with her performance. The rumours also say that she Jhanvi will be seen with her mother in ‘Mr. India 2’; now, we don’t know whether it’s true or not but it looks like Jhanvi is going to have a good career in Bollywood. ‘Dhadak’ will be produced by Dharma Productions, Karan gave us the indication that they will be making the remake of ‘Sairat’ very soon, last year and now here we are with the movie. The source also said that Karan chose Shashank to direct this film because he understands the small town love story and he has given good movies like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’.
