Siddhanth Kapoor: It Was Hard For Me To Imagine Myself As Dawood Ibrahim

Siddhanth Kapoor, Son of Actor Shakti Kapoor and brother of successful actress Shraddha Kapoor is all set to appear as Dawood Ibrahim in 'Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. In a recent interview, the actor shared that he couldn't imagine himself playing Dawood. The actor has previously spotted in movies like 'Shootout At Wadala', 'Ugly' and 'Jazbaa' but all the roles he performed were relatively small but this time the role he has bagged can a breakthrough role for his career. The movie 'Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai' is based on Dawood's sister Haseena Parkar's life, which will be played by his Siddhanth's real life sister Shraddha Kapoor. The film was announced in January 2016 and started its shooting from October. There is no official date of the film's release but rumors are that it might come around July this year. Siddhanth said in an interview that, "when the director of the movie Apoorva Lakhia approached me for the role, I wasn't sure if I will be able to play the role of the fugitive don. I was confused, but he gave me confidence and asked me to send him some photographs posing as the Don." "So I took my dad's clothes and sunglasses and shot some images. When Apoorva saw the pictures he was very much impressed and instantly signed me in for the role."
