Shahrukh fined Rs 1.93 Lakhs for constructing illegal ramp outside Mannat
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has fined 1.93 lakhs for making illegal ramp outside his house Mannat. This was revealed through an RTI application on Thursday.
RTI activist Anil Galgali said he had sought information from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation about action taken on the illegally ramp outside the bungalow by Shah Rukh. Galgali sought information about the cost incurred and payment received if any.
Ramp was used to park his Vanity Van, Due to this there was lots of shouting about it.
After campaign of People and worker, Municipal corporation had sent a notice to Shahrukh Khan on 6 February, 2015. BMC after the notice period was expired on February 15, they initiated action to break it.
Worker allegation was that Shahrukh Khan had captured the public land. After the ramp was broken, BMC gave notice to Shahrukh Khan to pay fine of Rs 1,93,785 or face punishment. According to Anil, Shahrukh paid the cheque of full penalty amount quietly to conclude the case.
