Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan And Akshay Kumar Finds Place In The Top 100 Highest Earning Celebrities List

Three of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar make it to Forbes highest earning celebrities. The list is topped by American rapper Diddy, the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo made the fifth spot whereas the singer The Weeknd came at number 6. The busiest man in Hollywood Dwayne Johnson made to the 22^nd spot. Shah Rukh Khan ranks 65^th on the list, tied with singer Jennifer Lopez and The Chainsmokers. “King Khan continues to bank big from starring roles in Bollywood movies. He also cashes on endorsement deals for dozens of brands most Americans have likely never heard of,” Forbes stated. Following SRK, Salman Khan listed on number 71, he also shared the same spot with footballer Neymar and musicians Dolly Parton and Ed Sheeran. Talking about Salman, Forbes said, “Salman continues to produce and star in films, which earn well at the Box Office.” Akshay Kumar ranked 80^th, he also shared the spot with musician Bon Jovi. Forbes stated, “Kumar, is a king of the Bollywood Box Office for over a quarter of a century, mints millions through both starring and ensemble roles”. The stars are ranked on the earnings during the period of June 2016 to June 2017, Forbes said. There are 10 male actors in the list whereas no female actors made the list. Only 16 % are female in the list and rest are male. “This shows the gender pay gap in the entertainment world,” Forbes stated.
