Sanjay Leela Bhansali Finally Breaks His Silence On ‘Padmavati’ Controversy

The release date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ is coming and there have been a lot of controversies surrounding the film. There are rumours that the film has a romantic dream sequence between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji. Earlier, at the set of the film, the filmmaker was slapped by the Karni Sena for putting that scene in the film and they even threatened to burn the theatre if the story is inappropriate. Now, the filmmaker was quiet for some time, he was busy with the post-production of the movie, but now finally Sanjay Leela Bhansali breaks his silence on the controversy. He gave a video message by saying that he made this film with a lot of hard work and responsibility and also stated that he has always been inspired by Rani Padmini’s story. Talking about the controversy, he said, “I have always said that there is no dream sequence between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the movie and I am saying again. There is nothing in the movie which will hurt anyone’s sentiments.
