Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 movie Satellite Rights sold for record price, Highest ever!

Mega Star Rajinikanth‘s and Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s most awaited film ‘2.0‘ sequel to 2010’s blockbuster movie ‘Robot’ is inching closer to completion. It is directed by S. Shankar and bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions on a budget of Rs 450 crore. The film is slated to release on 18 October 2017 as Diwali Special. 2.o already started pre-business with distribution and satellite rights. According to the latest update, this film Satellite Rights sold for the record price of Rs 110 crore. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “In a Mother of all deals, @superstarrajini – @akshaykumar‘s #2Point0‘s Satellite TV rights has gone to #ZEETV for a whopping 110 Crs. ”. With the satellite right of Robot sequel will shock all the film industry and audience. Now, it is expected to create new records in Industry. The film will feature Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the villain’s role while Amy Jackson plays the female lead. Directed by S. Shankar and co-written by B. Jeyamohan. A.R. Rahman’s composed music and background score of the film. The trailer of 2.o is likely to be out on April 14th, 2017 on eve of Tamil Nadu New Year ‘Puthandu’. 2.0 is an upcoming Indian science fiction film written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of Lyca Productions. A spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, the film will feature Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The film will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.  With an estimated budget of ₹4 billion (US$59 million), it is the most expensive Indian film till date
