'Qaidi Band’ Box Office Collection - ‘Qaidi Band' is a musical film from YRF, which was released this Friday on 25^th of August at the theatres. The movie talked about how a set of under trials set to create a band in order to get an early release from imprisonment, and they do become popular as an under trial band, but then comes a political angle due to which their hearing at the court gets further delayed and the only option they have is to escape from the jail and prove it to the world that they need justice and can, in turn, claim their freedom. The Movie‘Qaidi Band' had a new star cast which was a reason the movie was expected to get a lukewarm response. But from the trailers and the few songs that were released the movies unique storyline was much in news and was expected to fare decently at the Box Office Collections window by pulling the young crowd. The budget of the movie was also relatively low from the other releases of the day. The movie witnessed only 5 percent occupancy on its opening day. And managed to earn Approx. Rs 0.70 Crore on its opening day at the Box Office. The movie so far has got mixed reviews; now let us see if it proves to be a hit or a flop by the end of the weekend.
