Punjab NGO challenged High Court decision in Supreme Court over 'Udta Punjab'

Issues with Udta Punjab is not stopping anyhow. NGO of Punjab has challenged high court order in Supreme Court. HumanRights NGO said, 'High Court cannot decided whcih scenes to be removed or Dialogues, Along with this, there is one more allegation, that states image has been presented in wrong way.' Mumbai High Court permitted Udta Punjab to get released. Court asked to release the film with 1 cut. High Court said that they did not found anything in the script, which creates bad image of Punjab, as Censor Board claimed. Court says further that according to Law, CBFC has not right to censor the film because in Cinematograph Act, there is no censor word. Before this Censor Board asked to remove 89 scenes from the film, then Producer Anurag kashyap challenged Censor Baord decision in Bombay High Court.
