Veteran Actor Jagdeep Sahab Passes Away At 81

Renowned Bollywood star Jagdeep Sahab passed away on 8 July, 2020 owing to health issues related to his age. The actor widely popular by the name 'Soorma Bhopali' left for his heavenly abode in Mumbai city. A renowned actor and a fantastic comedian, Jagdeep Sahab had entered into the world of films when he was a child. Jagdeep Sahab is survived by 6 children including Javed Jaffrey and Naved Jaffrey, from 3 marriages.  The veteran actor started his career in the film industry as a child artist in the 1951 film 'Afsana' by B. R. Chopra. The actor, even though a child artist then, never looked back since and went on to portray more roles as a child artist in various movies: Munna, Aar Paar, Ab Dilli Door Nahin, Do Bigha Zamin, Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke. The veteran actor portrayed his fantastic acting skills through these movies following which he won numerous accolades and widespread fame, praise and popularity.

Jagdeep Sahab was such an amazing actor that he had also received praise and attention from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The actor was portrayed in the lead role in the movies Bhabhi, Barkha and a few others. Widespread success touched his life after he portrayed the skills of a comedian in the 1968 film, Brahmachari. The actor went on to do many other films portraying different roles but he never failed to impress. The veteran actor has   been a part of many horror movies as well. Jagdeep Sahab dedicated more than 50 successful years to the film industry and was last seen in the 2012 film, Gali Gali Chor Hai. Not only are his fans mourning the big loss but the Bollywood film industry has also suffered a major setback as an amazing star has unfortunately passed away. The unfortunate news of Jagdeep Sahab's sad demise came as a big blow to the entire film industry.
