Team Shershaah’s Tribute To Vikram Batra On His Death Anniversary

On Captain Vikram Batra's death anniversary, the entire team of Shershaah paid homage to the brave warrior of India. Captain Vikram Batra had sacrificed his life for India during the 1999 Kargil War and was also awarded with the Param Vir Chakra. Now, makers of Shershaah on his death anniversary have paid their tribute to the brave warrior with a very special video. Shershaah interestingly happens to be a Bollywood movie loosely based on the life of Vikram Batra. The video starts with the image of a soldier on a black background. Further into the video, a message for Vikram Batra appears on the frame: "The soldier who left no stone unturned, to display an act of unparalleled courage leading at the frontlines armed with his valour and pride, lives on in the heart of every Indian". The video ends with a statement: "Remembering Captain Vikram Batra (PVC)" alongside the picture of the late soldier donning Amry attire.

The upcoming biographical war action film Shershaah is based on the life journey of late Army captain and Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra. The film is directed by Vishnuvardhan and co-produced by Karan Johar. Sidharth Malhotra has been roped in to play the lead role of the soldier, Vikram Batra while the role of Vikram Batra's identical twin, Vishal will also be essayed by Sidharth Malhotra. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the role of Dimple Cheema. Alongside actors Jaaved Jaffrey, Shiv Panditt, Himmanshoo A. Malhotra, Pawan Chopra and others will also act in the movie. Shershaah was initially scheduled to be released on 3 July, 2020 however the release date has been postponed due to the unfortunate COVID-19 crisis. Fans have been anticipating and awaiting the release of the movie.
