Tigmanshu Dhulia To Play The Role Of Shah Rukh Khan’s Father

Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia soon will be portraying the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s father. In the movie, Shahrukh will be seen as a dwarf. Recently he said that he wanted to be the part of the movie because he liked the subject. “I don’t consider myself as a polished actor, I do it because I like it. When Anand came to me with the script, I wanted to be a part of it, he believed in me and thought that I can do justice to that role. I don’t do a movie as an actor very often, I do it only when I feel I should,” said Tigmanshu. He also mentioned that this is a very technical film and SRK is playing the role of a dwarf. “I saw Kamal Haasan playing the role of a dwarf, but that time VFX facility was not available, he folded his legs to do the role. And that is one of the reason, why I joined the movie, I wanted to see how it’s done,”. Dhulia has done some movies as an actor including ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur I & II’, ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’ and ‘Shahid’, and he completely nailed it as an actor in all his roles. He also won an Award for his portrayal in ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’. He recently launched the first trailer of his upcoming directorial movie ‘Raag Desh’, which is based on 1945 Red Fort Trials when the Indian National Army soldiers were court-martialled by the British. Talking about ‘Raag Desh’ he said, “When we write a fictional story, we mould it to our own imagination, but that’s not the case for a real story, we have to write a proper script and we cannot play with it”. He said that making 'Raag Desh' was equally challenging for him as ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. You May Also Like Shah Rukh Khan Upcoming Movies Bollywood Movies 2017 Box Office Collection Upcoming Movies List
