And one day due to some chemical reaction created in the science lab, the child gains his power of smell and that too with a power that he can smell things that are up to 2kms far from him. Then one fine day the society where Sunny lives and his neighbouring societies start experiencing Car thefts, then Sunny comes to their rescue and decides to help them find the car robbers. Car robbers get scared of Sunny’s miraculous power and they now want to kill him to avoid being caught.

Review:Sniff’ is one of those movies that have an extremely well-written script but it fails at the stage of execution and treatment. Amole Gupte in past has given us some magical movies like ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’ but this time he fails to weave the same magic.

There is message also that Amole Gupte wishes to get across but he fails miserably in getting it through. The first half of the movie is all about setting up an ambience for the story and is a good watch all through but the second half goes for a complete toss. There are many moments when the story is going round and round and you just want it to be over soon. Probably a crisp editing would have helped the movie. The real hero of the movie is Khushmeet Gill, a star in the making and he amazingly takes the entire movie forward on his little shoulders.

The direction of the movie Amole Gupte is known for handling his scripts that are weaved around kids, and this time again he does it with utmost ease. The credit goes to Khushmeet too, as from his acting we can very well understand that he is a director’s actor.

Why To Watch: The expectations from the movie were sky high for it being an Amole Gupte film, but the movie fails to meet the expectations. It can be an enjoyable watch for young kids.
